Travel Vaccinations

If you are planning a trip abroad, on holiday or for business you may require travel vaccinations. Destinations such as the Caribbean, Asia, Africa, South and Central America usually necessitate vaccinations, and for some countries it is mandatory
prior to entry. For some countries, anti-malarial tablets will also be required.

The practice is an approved Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre, and we can provide all common vaccinations, such as Tetanus, Diphtheria, Polio, Typhoid, Yellow Fever, Hepatitis A and B.

Your Healthcare Professional will be able to give you up to date health information for your destination to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable trip. When you know your destination, complete and return the Travel Vaccination Questionnaire which will be reviewed and you will be advised on the appropriate vaccinations you require, the cost of vaccines will also be discussed with you at this time, it is a good idea to organise for travel vaccinations well in advance of travelling as some vaccinations require 3 separate injections. However, you can still get vaccinated up to 2 weeks prior to travelling and get sufficient protection.

We will also give you advice on your general health when abroad, managing diarrhoea and vomiting, sun protection and prevention and treatment of mosquito and insect bite.

Vaccine Charges
The cost for the initial review of your travel vaccination questionnaire and subsequent research and advice is €60; this charge is payable upon submitting your questionnaire.

All visits for travel vaccinations are €30 plus the cost of the vaccine
